HOW DOES THE NETPLAY FEATURE ON THE RETROBOSS WORK?
The RetroBOSS doesn't need an Internet connection to function normally, but if you wish to take advantage of the Netplay and Retroachievements features, you will need an active Internet connection, either Ethernet (preferred) or Wireless. Neither an Ethernet cable or wireless WiFi USB adapter are provided with the RetroBOSS, you will need to purchase these separately. Netplay allows you to connect to other RetroBOSS users online to play 2 player games, as if you were sat together. Only certain games and systems are supported. The experience relies on a stable Internet connection, which is why the wired method (Ethernet) is preferred.
DOES THE RETROBOSS COME WITH A CONTROLLER / KEYBOARD & MOUSE?
Yes, you can select either 1 or 2 controllers and choose a keyboard & mouse from the product page, the price will change accordingly.

WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT OF THE RETROBOSS?
Approx. 180mm x 185mm x 35mm - 1.5kg.

CAN I USE THE RETROBOSS OUTSIDE THE UK?
Yes, providing the TV has HDMI connectivity and you have the correct plug socket adapter.
HOW DOES THE CONSOLE/HANDHELD CONNECT TO THE TV?
The consoles connect via a standard HDMI cable (included) and plugs into any TV with an HDMI input. The handheld can also be connected to a TV with a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable (not supplied).
CAN GAMES BE SAVED AND CONTINUED LIKE THE ORIGINALS?
Yes, games can be saved exactly like the originals, or for most systems by saved 'states' (explained in the user guide).

CAN I ADD MORE GAMES TO THE RETROBOSS?
Yes, it is possible, you will need to copy your games from a USB stick. You will also need a keyboard and mouse. Storage space should be considered when adding large game files.
DO I NEED THE INTERNET TO USE THE CONSOLE?
No, you do not, nor any subscription. However, Netplay and Retroachievements on the RetroBOSS require an Internet connection.

DO I NEED THE KEYBOARD AND MOUSE TO PLAY GAMES?
If a game needed keyboard or mouse input originally, it will likely do so on the console. Most wired and wireless (2.4ghz) USB keyboards and mice will work on the consoles and some systems even use a virtual on-screen keyboard.

DO I NEED THE SENSOR BAR FOR SINDEN LIGHT GUNS?
No. A coloured border is shown on screen which the gun camera uses for accuracy.

DO I NEED THE SENSOR BAR? I ALREADY HAVE A Wii ONE.
If you want to use Wiimotes for Wii games and Light Gun Games, you'll need our sensor bar as the Wii original lacks Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

CAN I USE MY OWN Wii CONTROLLERS ON THE RETROBOSS?
Yes, although you will need our sensor bar. The one supplied with the original Wii will not work.

WHY IS THE RETROBOSS MINI PC REFURBISHED?
In order for us to offer this package at a competitive price we use refurbished mini PC's. If we didn't, the cost of the package would likely double in price, but don't worry, you're covered with a one year warranty!

HOW WELL DO THE LIGHT GUN GAMES PLAY ON THE RETROBOSS?
The original arcade / console light gun games were designed for use with old CRT TV's, so playing them on todays widescreen LCD TV's isn't 100% accurate. However, the Infra-red technology used with the Wiimote and sensor bar works well all in all, giving you hours of fun reliving the arcade shooters.

WHAT ACCESSORIES WORK FOR THE Wii GAMES ON THE RETROBOSS?
All Wii accessories such as the steering wheel, Nunchuk and gun should work. Although it is possible to emulate a Nunchuk using the consoles controller, a real Nunchuk is advised for full compatibility for some games.
ARE THERE ANY LIMITATIONS?
The vast majority of games on our consoles work perfectly and will give you hours upon hours of gaming pleasure. However, there may be some games that suffer from audio, graphical or speed issues. If you would like to know how any particular game performs on any of our products, please get in touch.

THERE IS A GAME MISSING FROM YOUR LIST THAT I REALLY WANT...
OK, let us know and we'll try our best to get it for your order. For large customizations a small fee will apply. Please note that this request may increase delivery time.
CAN I CONNECT OTHER CONTROLLERS TO THE CONSOLE?
It is sometimes possible, either by Bluetooth (Bluetooth adapter required, Amazon link here) or USB wired or 2.4g wireless. However, you may not get full functionality from some emulators so it is recommended to use the console with our supplied controllers as everything is pre-set to work perfectly with them.
WHEN WILL YOU DISPATCH MY ITEM?
We aim to dispatch within 2 working days and in most cases you should receive your order within 3-5 working days. If you would like an estimated time for your delivery, please contact us before purchase. We use Royal Mail 'Special Delivery pre 1PM' for all RetroBOSS orders. Tracking information is provided. Please be aware that any delays to receiving your order after we have shipped it will be subject to Rail Mail's terms and conditions.

WHAT'S YOUR RETURN POLICY?
There is a 30 day return policy. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase has arrived, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
DO THE CONSOLES COME WITH A WARRANTY?
Yes, a 1 year warranty. However, it does not protect against failure or damage due to misuse such as, but not limited to incorrect installation, poor maintenance, abuse or neglect, using the product for something other than its intended purpose and alteration of the product. It does not cover general wear on any of the items. Corrosion and/or deterioration caused by material fatigue defined as the natural breakdown of materials that occurs after extended use will not be covered under warranty.
